This Privacy Policy explains how PRARA GAMES (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Ramayana IQ / रामायण IQ mobile application (“App”) on Android and other supported platforms.

2. What the App does (features relevant to privacy)

Ramayana IQ is an educational / entertainment App about the Valmiki Ramayana. Features include:

• Quizzes across seven Kandas, stars, coins, and lifelines
• Battle mode (duel vs computer) with optional save / resume
• Mandir (puja interactions)
• Collection: characters, Ramayana Book (read / resume), Varnan stories, Gyan Yog maps, mantras, Panchang, Bhakti Videos (YouTube links), and Wallpaper
• Profile (display name, Ramayana IQ score, achievements) and Settings (language, sound, vibration/haptics, share, daily reminders, optional Remove Ads)

3. What data we collect

We do not require a cloud account login and do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government ID, payment card numbers, or precise continuous location tracking for advertising.

3.1 Data stored locally on your device

• Profile details you choose (display name, gender preference, optional profile photo)
• Language preference (Hindi / English)
• Game progress (quiz scores, stars, coins, unlocked Kandas/sets, battle progress / checkpoint saves)
• Derived local stats (e.g. Ramayana IQ / achievements calculated on-device)
• Book reading progress (pages read, scroll resume position)
• App settings (music, sound FX, vibration/haptics, daily reminder preference, Remove Ads flag)
• Lightweight preference counters used for ad frequency (e.g. Book “Continue” taps)
• Cached quiz / content files and temporary files (e.g. wallpaper image copied to cache before the system setter opens)

This information is stored on your device (for example via local storage / SharedPreferences / app cache). Clearing app data or uninstalling the App may delete it.

3.2 Data processed when features are used

• Notifications: If you enable daily reminders, the device notification system schedules local reminders (up to a few times per day). We do not use reminder content to build advertising profiles.
• Remote content: The App may download quiz questions, notification message text, and similar content from our servers at www.theprara.in. Standard technical data such as IP address may be logged by the hosting provider for security and delivery.
• Panchang: Requests go to our server proxy (https://www.theprara.in/ramayan/panchang.php, which may call a third-party astronomy/calendar API. Requests may include date and a default place/timezone (e.g. New Delhi / Asia/Kolkata) plus standard network metadata.
• Ads: Google AdMob may show banner and full-screen (interstitial) ads. Advertising partners may process device advertising identifiers (e.g. Google Advertising ID) and related diagnostics under their policies. Ads are skipped if you purchase / enable Remove Ads.
• In-house promotions: The App may show banners for other PRARA GAMES apps. Tapping opens the Google Play Store listing in an external browser / Play app.
• YouTube / external links: Bhakti Videos and similar links open YouTube or a browser externally (we do not host or re-stream YouTube files).
• Share: If you use Share App / share result, content is passed to the system share sheet; the destination app you choose applies its own privacy practices.
• Text-to-speech (Listen): Spoken text uses the device’s on-device TTS engine. Processing is handled by the operating system / TTS provider on your device.
• Wallpaper: Setting a wallpaper copies a packaged image to temporary storage and opens the Android system wallpaper setter. The App uses wallpaper-related permissions as declared in the Play listing / app manifest.

4. Third-party services

The App uses or may use third-party services. Those providers process data under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

4.1 Google services

• Google AdMob (banner and interstitial advertising)
• Google Play services / billing (distribution and optional purchases such as Remove Ads)
• Google Play Store (when opening app listings from in-house promos or Rate Us)

4.2 YouTube (external open)

Suggested Bhakti Videos open the official YouTube app or website. Videos belong to their channels; we do not host or download YouTube video files inside the App.

• When YouTube / Google opens, they may collect device, account, and usage data under their policies.
• Your use of YouTube is also subject to YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
• We do not control YouTube’s independent data practices.

4.3 Panchang (via our proxy + third-party API)

Panchang / calendar features fetch data through our website proxy (API keys stay server-side). The proxy may call a third-party Vedic / astronomy API (for example FreeAstroAPI or a similar provider).

• Request data may include selected date, place/timezone defaults, and standard network metadata (such as IP address) needed to return results.
• The API provider processes that data under its own terms and privacy policy.
• Panchang information is for general reference only and should not be treated as the sole authority for religious or ritual decisions.

4.4 Shop / affiliate links (if enabled later)

A Shop section may be offered in a future update with product links using programs such as Amazon and Flipkart associates.

• If you tap a product link, you leave the App and visit the merchant site.
• Those sites may set cookies and collect purchase / browsing data under their own privacy policies.
• We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases. This does not change the price you pay.
• We do not receive your full payment card details from merchants through affiliate links.
• If Shop is not shown in your App version, this section does not apply until it is enabled.

5. How we use data

• Provide quizzes, progress saving, Battle save/resume, Mandir, Collection, and related features
• Remember your language, profile, and settings
• Deliver optional reminders you enable
• Update quiz / content files from our website
• Show advertisements (unless removed by a valid purchase / Remove Ads, where available)
• Enable Panchang lookups, external YouTube / Play Store / share flows, and wallpaper setting
• Improve reliability, security, and user experience

We do not sell your personal information and do not send marketing spam emails.

6. Your choices

• Change or clear profile details inside the App (where available)
• Turn reminders, music, sound FX, and vibration on/off in Settings
• Purchase or enable Remove Ads (where available) to stop AdMob ads in the App
• Reset or limit Advertising ID in Android settings
• Disable ad personalization via Google Ads Settings
• Avoid YouTube, Panchang, Share, Wallpaper, or Shop features if you do not want those flows to involve third parties or the system share sheet
• Uninstall the App to remove local App data from the device

7. Data sharing

We share data only as needed to operate the App, including with:

• Google (AdMob ads, Play distribution / billing, Advertising ID where applicable)
• YouTube / Google (when you open a video link)
• Our hosting / proxy at www.theprara.in and any Panchang API provider behind that proxy
• Amazon / Flipkart or similar merchants (only if Shop affiliate links are enabled and you open them)
• The app or service you choose when using the system share sheet

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users’ safety.

8. Data retention

• Local App data remains until you clear it or uninstall the App
• Server logs for content delivery / Panchang proxy are retained only as needed for security and operations
• Third parties retain data according to their own policies

9. Children’s privacy

Ramayana IQ is an educational / entertainment App about the Ramayana and is suitable for a general audience with parental guidance. It is not directed at children under 13 for the purpose of knowingly collecting personal information from them. 10. International transfers

Third-party providers (including Google, YouTube, API hosts, and e-commerce partners if used) may process data on servers located in different countries.
